On the 30th episode of SBS Friday drama “The Escape of the Seven” (written by Kim Soon Ok, directed by Joo Dong Min), the group of Geum Ra Hee (played by Hwang Jung Eum), Min Do Hyuk (played by Lee Joon), and Han Mo Ne (played by Lee Yoo Bi) escaped from Jigok Island after a bloody battle.
While exiting the island, they were suddenly swept away by a surging wave, and when they finally woke up near the shore, the mysterious man said, “There must have been a boat here, but it must have drifted away overnight,” which made everyone excited. Shin Eun Kyung spotted the boat, and the group cheered, “We’re alive!” But the mysterious man said, “This boat can only hold seven people. There are 13 of us now, and if we all get in, it will sink,” he said, adding, “We have to decide who gets in that boat. Someone has to give up.”
They gave each other a wary glance. In order to be among the seven, they used the boat’s oars to kill without hesitation. The seven people on the boat were Geum Ra Hee, Min Do Hyuk, Han Mo Ne, Cha Joo Ran, Yang Jin Mo (played by Yoon Jong Hoon), Go Myung Ji (played by Jo Yoon Hee), and Nam Chul Woo (played by Jo Jae Yoon), and they managed to escape. Geum Ra Hee said, “We never came here today. The employees are supposed to go to work at nine o’clock, so just do as I say,” Geum Ra Hee told the seven.
The next day, when a body is found in Jigokdo, they’re the prime suspects, but they have a ready-made alibi.
Meanwhile, back at home, Han Mo Ne is still haunted by visions of Bang Da Mi (Jung Rael) in her dreams.
In the past, Bang Da Mi had announced on a live broadcast that she would reveal to the entire school that it was Han Mo Ne who had given birth to the child, not her, and afterwards, Han Mo Ne met with Bang Da Mi privately and said, “If you become a top star, I will compensate you for everything. So don’t do that live broadcast thing. You don’t have a chance anymore.” But Bang Da Mi was adamant, and Han Mo Ne ended up hitting her with a rock, killing her.
When she woke up, she saw his ghost and screamed in terror. Upon hearing this, Geum Ra Hee rushed to Han Mo Ne’s room, and Han Mo Ne excitedly confessed, “I killed you, Bang Da Mi,” raising the tension for the viewers.
