Gong Yoo and Kim Tae Ri in talks to star in new SBS drama “The Devil”

Gong Yoo and Kim Tae Ri could be collaborating on a new korean drama ‘The Devil’.

The actress is in talks to appear in writer Kim Eun Hee’s next SBS drama ‘The Devil,’ according to reports. Also Gong Yoo has received writer Kim Eun Hee’s offer to star in ‘The Devil’, which he is now debating.

SBS previously stated that Kim Eun Hee, the writer behind dramas such as “Signal,” Netflix’s “Kingdom” series, and most recently “Jirisan,” would be returning to SBS next year with a new project at the “2022 SBS Showcase.” Son Hyun Joo and Park Yoochun’s “Three Days” was her penultimate drama on SBS in 2014. She previously wrote the dramas “Sign” and “Phantom” for SBS.

The Devil is scheduled to premiere on SBS in 2022.

Kim Tae Ri will act alongside Nam Joo Hyuk in the drama “Twenty-Five Twenty-One,” which will premiere on February 12, 2022, following the conclusion of the currently airing “Bulgasal”. Meanwhile, Gong Yoo recently appeared in the South Korean sci-fi mystery film “The Silent Sea” opposite Bae Doona and Lee Joon, as well as a brief appearance in Netflix’s hit survival series “Squid Game.”
